The Annual Miami FSC Awards Banquet held at the Hammocks Club House last
June. Many skaters were recognized for tests and competion results. Club
President Karen Kammer officiated and afterwards the members celebrated with
dinner and dancing!

Elite Summer Camp at Kendall Ice Arena

will hold its annual meeting, Sunday, June 9, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the
upstairs meeting room at Kendall Ice Arena. Items of business to be
addressed include the election of governors and a ‘state of the club’

The Competition features the full IJS Computer System (not paper) and
includes all levels from Basic Skills to Senior Men and Ladies!

Test Session Confirmed for Saturday, June 8, 2013 - High Test Session
and Low Level Dance. Test applications are due no later than June 2, 2013.
 Special
Congratulations to Carolina Rodriguez for passing her Senior Moves in the Field
test on the Miami FSC, December 1st test session. Carolina has worked her way up
from Basic Skills Group classes at Kendall Ice Arena. Passing any Senior test is
an achievement that only a few skaters attain!
Carolina also competed recently at the 2013 South Atlantics Regional
Championships and made it to the final rounds in Juvenile Ladies.

Miami FSC Clubmember Max Fernandez who will be competing at the USFS
Eastern Sectional Championships in Novice Men!
The road to the 2014 Winter Olympics will pass through Hyannis,
Mass. this weekend as more than 200 figure skaters compete in the 2013 U.S.
Figure Skating Eastern Sectional Championships at the Hyannis Youth &
Community Center.
The competition, hosted by the Yarmouth Ice Club, will take
place Friday through Monday and features the best skaters from 17 states in
the Eastern region, which stretches from Florida to Maine.
