Long time Miami FSC member Karina Johnson is slated to compete at the 2011 World Championships.

Karina represents the Danish Skating Union and is three time Danish Champion.  She recently returned from the 2011 European Championships in Bern, Switzerland.  She made it through the tough qualifying rounds and finshed 17th overall in the Finals.  She is now prequalified to compete at next years European Championships without going through the pre-qualifying process.

The 2011 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan were cancelled due to the terrible earthquake and tsunami and held instead in Moscow. This year was a historic first as the skaters had to skate the long program first to qualify for the short program.  Karina made the cut and finished 26th overall.
