The Miami Figure Skating Club (Miami FSC), established in 2004, stands as the southernmost U.S. Figure Skating (USFS) member club, proudly representing the vibrant skating community of Miami, Florida. Operating out of the Kendall Ice Arena, the club serves skaters of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to elite competitors.

Signature Event: The Miami Open Championship
A highlight of the club's annual calendar is the Miami Open Championship, scheduled for May 30–June 1, 2025. This prestigious event is part of the 2025 Excel Series and features IJS events across all levels, from Pre-Preliminary to Senior Singles, including Excel and Adult categories. The competition also hosts the Season Finals of the Compete USA South Florida Series on June 1. Registration is open via the USFS EMS system, with early registration encouraged due to potential capacity limits.
Notable Achievements
Miami FSC skaters have achieved national and international recognition. Max Fernandez and Joy Weinberg secured the U.S. Junior Pairs Championship in 2016 and placed in the top ten at the ISU Junior World Championships in Hungary. Long-time Miami FSC member Karina Johnson represented the Danish Skating Union and one the Danish Senior Ladies Championship four times and represented Denmark in multiple International events, including Jr. Grand Prix, Junior World Championships, European Championships, and World Championships. Dr. Ana Duarte and Sergei Pospelov also earned silver in Pre-Gold Dance at the 2019 U.S. Adult National Championships in Salt Lake City, and won gold at the Adult Championship in Oberstdorf, Germany.
